COVID19 data visualization

Data visualization is very important to convoy messages. In this post I will show examples of 3 different COVID data visualization. We are currently going through the NSW COVID outbreak and my prospective is changed how map visualization should be done.

Simple visualization is fine when you don’t have any active cases in your area
This grouped visualization is perfect when you have only few active cases
I think this level of details is required when covid cases are near in your neighbourhoods

This covid-19 near me map created by Kenneth Tsang which I believe is brilliant work. This has more granular data and clear colour code upfront.
